Elements of the flow - Create event
The Create event element allows you to open an event automatically.
Opening an event does not trigger an alarm. This additionally requires the use of the Trigger alarm element.
Configuration
1️⃣ Each new event requires a name. This can be defined in the input field for the name of the event. Via the input function (rectangular symbol) the name can also be obtained automatically from previous elements. Possible sources would be e.g. the subject of an e-mail or also the element Text Parser, which allows a passed text to be filtered specifically.
2️⃣ In addition to the name for the event, an external ID for the event can optionally be supplied. A possible example for an external ID would be the incident number. The external ID can then also be used later in the flow.
3️⃣ Use Event Severity to define the severity of the event. You can define the severity level in the organisation settings.
