Tutorial: Weather Warning as Flow Trigger



To trigger a flow using a weather warning, you need to follow these steps:

Create an empty flow and name it.

Next, add the trigger DWD Weather Warning from the selectable triggers.

Now add the trigger to the top of your flow by clicking on it and dragging it into the empty box.

after that your flow should look like this:

now click on the trigger to open the settings.

now you need to fill in the Warning Area, Warning Criteria and Warning Level fields to add the relevant data that will determine when the flow is triggered.

correctly filled in, the trigger could then look like this:

If desired, you can ensure that other weather warnings of the same type are ignored for a certain period of time so that multiple alarms are not triggered.
