Tutorial: Sending an email to trigger a flow



To trigger a flow with an email, you need to add the following you need to follow these steps:

Create an empty flow and name it.

Next, add the Receive Email trigger from the selectable triggers.

now add the trigger to the top of your flow by clicking on it and dragging it into the empty box.

Afterwards, your flow should look like this:

Now click on the trigger to open the settings.

The email address in the blue box is the email address to which the flow must be sent.

If desired, the mails that can trigger the flow can be added to the box for authorized senders.



The next step is to read the data from the email and add it to your alarm using the text parser.
