Edit monitor

To add a new panel, click on the button "NEW PANEL". In the following window you will see all panels, these can be filtered by category or using the search bar.

Click on a panel and configure it according to the specifications, then confirm with "Save". The panel now appears on the monitor.

To move a panel, click in the upper-left corner of a panel and keep the mouse button pressed. Drag the panel to the desired position. Panels that have already been placed adjust their position dynamically, if possible.

To change the size of a panel, move the mouse pointer over the edge of the panel until an arrow symbol appears. Hold down the left mouse button to drag the panel to the desired size. Panels that have already been placed will dynamically adjust their position if possible.

To remove a panel or edit the content, click on the three dots in the upper-right corner and select "Delete" or "Configure".

Formatting the monitor

A wide range of formatting options is available to help you customise the appearance of the monitor to your liking. You can apply these formatting options either to the entire monitor or to individual panels as required. To edit the formatting of your monitor, please click on the cog icon in the top right-hand corner of the monitor’s edit view. Within the individual panels, the formatting is part of the respective panel’s edit view.

The formatting options are divided into three sections.

In the Settings section, you can adjust the alignment of the panels. The following options are available:

Grid: Allows you to enable a grid. This helps you to position the panels more easily. You can adjust the size of the grid using the ‘Columns’ and ‘Rows’ options.
Secure View: Safe View is enabled by default and prevents panels from being moved unintentionally by other panels whilst dragging. It also prompts you to confirm before deleting panels.
Inner Spacing: The inner spacing affects the size of the canvas for the panels. Increasing the inner spacing reduces the size of the canvas and adds a corresponding border.
Distance between panels: Controls the spacing between individual panels.
Columns & Rows: This allows you to determine how fine the grid on the monitor should be, on which you can arrange the panels. More columns and rows allow for finer adjustment.

💡 If you’re having trouble resizing a new panel, this may be due to your monitor resolution. It may help to temporarily reduce the number of columns and rows. You should then be able to resize the panel again.

The Background section deals with the space behind and between the panels – in other words, the monitor’s background. The following options are available here:

Type: You have two options for customising the background. Firstly, you can set a background colour via Colour. You can then specify this for both the monitor’s light and dark modes. Alternatively, you can use Image to add your own background image, such as a photograph. The image must be accessible via a URL on the internet and can also be set individually here for both light and dark modes.
Blur: The blur effect allows you to create smooth edges around the monitor. This applies a shading effect to the background, starting from the edges.

In the Variables section, you can make adjustments to the panels directly. The following options are also available separately in each panel.

Shadow: This option allows you to specify whether individual panels should cast a shadow onto the background.
Border: The border option allows you to add a border to the panels. This function only takes effect if you specify a border width.
Title Colour: The title colour option allows you to change the colour of the heading.
Text Colour: The text colour option allows you to change the colour of the text.
Background Colour: The background colour determines the colour of the panels’ background.
Border Colour: The border colour determines the colour of the border, which you can enable using the Border option.
Font Size: Font size determines the size of the text in the panels.
Border Width: The border width allows you to adjust the width of the coloured border.
Border Radius: The border radius allows you to give the panels visually rounded corners.
Inner Spacing: The inner spacing affects the size of the canvas of an individual panel and influences the position of text within a text box.
Blur: As with the background options, you can use the blur setting to add a shaded edge to a coloured background.

The Apply to all panels button allows you to apply the adjustments you have made to all panels.
Furthermore, if necessary, you can use the Reset function to restore all settings to their default values. Export and Import also allow you to export or import the configuration to or from other monitors.

💡 You can set each of the settings made in the Variables section individually for each panel or globally. To do this, you can enable or disable the linking for the individual formatting options when configuring the panels. To do this, click on the corresponding chain icon next to each option. If it is highlighted in green, the global settings are used. If you have not made any individual settings in a panel, the link is automatically activated by the Apply to all panels function.

Preview

While editing a monitor, you can preview the current view in a separate tab or window at any time. To achieve this, simply click on the corresponding button above the monitor.
This is similar to the live version, but is updated more frequently with your changes and does not switch between the current view and the idle mode.**

Manpower report (Alarm)	Shows you the manpower of the current alarm.
