Elemets of the flow - Conference room

The Conference Room element allows you to manage your conference rooms automatically to a certain extent. This enables you to activate or deactivate a specific conference room, set a PIN, and forward the dial-in details to your participants, for example, as the flow progresses.

1️⃣ In the Room name section, select the conference room you wish to manage. Using the input function, you can also set the room based on preceding elements, such as an HTTP trigger or an email. However, when using the input function, the system expects the conference room’s ID. You can view this under Admin → Conferences and then submit it accordingly.

2️⃣ The Generate a random PIN function allows you to set a new random PIN for your conference room each time the flow runs. This is useful, for example, if you wish to create a new conference with every alarm and want to ensure that only people with the new PIN are granted access.

3️⃣ If you do not choose to generate the PIN randomly, you must enter a fixed PIN here. This is a mandatory field and updates the conference room’s PIN accordingly each time the flow runs. However, as the PIN is fixed here, it will, of course, always remain the same.

4️⃣ You can use the status to specify whether the room should be enabled or disabled. In one flow you could enable the room when an alarm is triggered, and in another flow you could disable the room again, when the event is closed for example. If you do not wish to make any changes to the status, the third option available to you is No change.
