Checklist

The checklists in GroupAlarm allow you to map processes that have been defined and developed by your company for use in the event of a crisis. These predefined processes can then be executed as part of the alerting process for a scenario.

💡 The checklists are an extension and can be added via AdminExtensions.

After you have added the extension, you can configure the action instructions under ConfigurationChecklists.

1️⃣ If you want to create a new checklist, please select the green text CREATE INSTRUCTION.

2️⃣ If, on the other hand, you want to edit or delete an existing checklist, select the corresponding icon on the right-hand side of a checklist in the overview of the checklists.

3️⃣ To enable clear assignment, especially when there are a large number of checklists, you can name the checklists and add a short description.

4️⃣ The edit mode makes all input fields available in the panels for the individual actions. If you deactivate this function, the input fields are closed and only the stored texts are visible. This provides a better overview.

5️⃣ The individual actions in the process of a checklist are displayed as panels and can be filled in accordingly. You can give each action a name and a more detailed description of the tasks to be performed.

6️⃣ You can access further options via the three dots on each panel. This allows you to delete the panel, add a new branch or cut the panel. When cutting a panel, you can then reinsert it via the three dots on another panel as a predecessor (exclusively for the first panel in the chain), successor or neighbour (branch). This allows you to flexibly adjust the checklist at any time.

7️⃣ If there are several options for a step, you can add branches. These branches can be added as often as you like and remain on the same level. You can switch between the individual branches using the arrows.

In order to ultimately use a checklist, it must be alerted via a scenario. It is not absolutely necessary to store emergency services in the scenario. However, the instructions are usually used in combination with alerting emergency services. Further information on scenarios can be found here.

If you have stored the checklist in a scenario and alert this scenario, you can switch to the checklist tab in the alert view under AlertingAlarms. There, you can then start the process and work through the predefined checklist in sequence.

💡 If you combine such a scenario with a Quick Action as part of an alert template, even people without any special prior knowledge can quickly and easily trigger such an alert and follow important steps according to the predefined checklist.
