Change email address

If you would like to change the email address for your user account, you can do so in the Master Data section of your profile. You can access the Master Data at the top right via your avatar in the GroupAlarm WebApp and the GroupAlarm App on your smartphone. To change the email address, select the pencil icon in the input field for the email address. A window will then appear in which you can enter your new email address. If you have enabled two-factor authentication for your user account, you must also enter the current two-factor code. You will then receive a confirmation email at your new email address. You can verify your new email address and make the change via a link in the email. After this is done, you can then log in to the system with your new email address.


💡 Changing the email address in your master data does not affect the Device Email. This must be adjusted separately.


❗️ If you use Google to log in, changing your email address may prevent you from logging in. In this case, you will need to use the normal login and, if necessary, reset your password.
