Flow example - Close event
To avoid having to close events manually, this can be done with a simple flow that closes events automatically after a set time.
The structure of the flow for the automated closing of events consists of the trigger element Event triggered, a Waiting element and the Close event element.
Other trigger elements can also be used. However, it is important that the event ID is available as a result. Which data is available can be viewed in the respective element under Result.
Configuration
The flow starts as soon as an event is opened. This is also always the case when an alarm is triggered, as events are automatically created when the alarm is triggered. It is not necessary to configure the trigger element.
1️⃣ In the Waiting element, the execution pauses for the specified period of time. In our example, we have selected 3600 seconds, which corresponds to one hour. However, a different time can also be selected here. It is only important to specify this in seconds.
2️⃣ The Close event element takes effect after the time has elapsed and closes the event. In order for the system to know which event is to be closed, it is necessary to specify the event ID. The event ID is available as a result in the trigger element Event triggered and can be obtained via the input function (rectangular symbol).
