GroupAlarm Cockpit - Units

The Units module provides you with a convenient overview of all your units in the respective organisation. On the one hand, you can display the units in a list showing the unit name, external ID and status of the unit. On the other hand, you can display your units on a map view, which shows the status of the units as well as their current position. The position of the unit can only be determined if it is stored in the system accordingly. This can be done either manually under Configuration ⇾ Units or automatically via the GroupAlarm API interface. We recommend transmitting the location data via the API interface so that the current position can always be displayed quickly.

⚠️ The following permissions are required for this module: Create or Edit rights for the Units service. Details on permissions can be found here.

1️⃣ Using the controls on the map, you can zoom in and out and reload the map view. Reloading is necessary to retrieve the current position of the units.

2️⃣ Using the icon to centre the map section, you can automatically move the displayed area to a position where all units are visible, regardless of their position.
