GroupAlarm Cockpit - Incident log

The Incident Log module in the GroupAlarm Cockpit displays the incident log for your open and closed events. You can also create entries directly for the incident log of an open event.

⚠️ The following permissions are required for this module: Read, Create, Edit and Delete rights for the Incident Log service and Read rights for the Events service. Details on permissions can be found here.

1️⃣ You can use the lock to gain or relinquish write access to an incident log. Only with write access, it is possible to make entries. Only one person at a time can have write access to the incident log. If another person currently has write access, you will receive a warning and can decide whether you want to take over write access or wait until it is released again.

2️⃣ When you open an incident log, you will see a detailed list of all events and entries in the log. This also includes system events, such as the request for write access.

3️⃣ You can use the plus sign to add further entries to the incident log. To do this, you must have write access.

4️⃣ The category when creating a new entry is the category that you can create beforehand in the GroupAlarm WebApp under Configuration ⇾ Incident log. The category is displayed with each entry.

5️⃣ You can use the date to specify the time when an event that you want to document took place. This date can be in the future or in the past and has no influence on the chronological order of the entries in the incident log.

6️⃣ The text is the actual entry in the incident log. There is no character limit here.

7️⃣ In the input field for location, you can specify the location corresponding to the entry. And in the input field for reference, you can also enter additional information, which will then be displayed in the overview.
