# Profile - Notifications

In the `Notifications` section of your profile, you can make settings for general notifications from GroupAlarm.

1️⃣ `Automated email notifications` allow you to inform friends, family members or colleagues that you need to attend an emergency call-out. Enter up to five e-mail addresses and a personalised notification text to send your text to the specified e-mail addresses if there is a positive response to an alarm. Your user name is also sent in the e-mail as a note for the recipient.

| 💡 Switch on `Enable notifications` to use this function for future alerts.

2️⃣ You can use `Appointment notifications` to specify how you would like to be notified in the event of an appointment invitation. You can receive an invitation to an appointment as a push notification in the mobile app and/or by email. Both methods are activated by default.
