# Flow Triggers

# Flow Triggers



Flow triggers are events that can start a flow.

The following flow triggers are available:

This trigger starts a flow when an alarm has been raised in the organization.

This trigger starts a flow when an alarm in the organization has been closed.

This trigger starts a flow when there is a [DB Weather Warning](/en/article/flows-cpcy18/#3-dwd-weather-warning) with the properties configured in the trigger. You can read how to set these correctly here.

This trigger starts a flow when an [email received](/en/article/flows-cpcy18/#3-e-mail-received) has been received. In this example, you will find a flow that was triggered by an e-mail. All flow links used are explained.
