# Elements of the flow - Send a message to pager

The element 'Send a message to pager' allows you to automatically transmit a message to a pager. In this way, for example, additional information can be transferred to the emergency services.

**Configuration**

1️⃣ In the input field for the pager, you can specify the device that is to be addressed. 

|| ⚠️ Note that pagers must have been added in the [pager management](https://docs.groupalarm.com/en/article/pager-management-3bjdti/) beforehand.

2️⃣ The message to be sent can then be specified in the input field for the message. The message can also be obtained from previous elements by using the input function (rectangular symbol).
