# Elements of the flow - Position Change

The `Position Change` trigger starts a flow when the position of a unit changes. This allows you to transfer the position of a unit to external systems via a flow, for example. The trigger outputs all the important data of a unit as a result, such as ID, status or position. This data can then be used in the further course of the flow.
