# Configure Flow: Search Event

# Configure Flow: Search Event

Use the Search Event feature to search for an event in your organisation.
Select either a _Name_ to search for or an exact matching _External ID_ of an event.

| Only one of the fields can be filled in at a time.

You can also specify the _event state_ (open, closed, archived) that the event to be searched for should have.

If the event is found, it is located within the result of this function and can be used in the further course of the flow.
