# Comments

Comments in GroupAlarm allow your participants to select predefined comments when acknowledging alarms via app or email. These comments can be used to request additional information. One possible scenario for this is asking whether a participant is going directly to the scene or stopping by the station first.

Comments are configured under Configuration → Alarms. You can create new comments via `CREATE COMMENT`. In addition to the text for the comment, you can use the link to define whether the comment should be displayed when accepting or rejecting an alarm.

In addition to the predefined comments, you can also add free comments there.

1️⃣ `Standard comments` are automatically used for each alert as long as no different comments are defined or the comments for the alert are removed. To remove comments from the selection, click on the X next to the respective comment.

| 💡 The order of comments can be adjusted using drag & drop.

|| ⚠️ A maximum of 5 comments can be stored as standard for acceptances or rejections.

2️⃣ Under `Alarm comments`, you will find an overview of all the comments you have created. Individual comments can be edited at any time using the pencil icon, while the comment can be deleted using the bin icon.
