# Android: System requirements

* To be able to use the GroupAlarm App on Android, at least [Android version 8.0](https://www.android.com/versions/oreo-8-0/) (Oreo) must be installed.
* We recommend in any case to use the [latest version of Android](https://www.android.com/) if possible.
* To install the app, the [Google Play Store](https://play.google.com/) must be used.
* [Beta versions of Android](https://www.google.com/android/beta) are not supported.
